How to Use AdsGo Drafts & Recom?

Written by AdsGo
Updated over a week ago

Drafts & Recom is your central hub for managing, editing, and publishing ad campaigns in AdsGo. Instead of building every campaign from scratch, AdsGo automatically generates ready-to-publish ad recommendations based on your performance data — and gives you full control over what goes live and when.

This guide walks you through everything you need to know.

Getting Started

Navigate to Drafts & Recom in the left menu, then select your platform — for example, Meta.

You'll see two main sections:

  • Recommended Ads — AI-picked top campaign suggestions, shown at the top

  • Unpublished Drafts — all saved campaigns waiting to be published, shown below

Step 1: Review Your Unpublished Drafts

The Unpublished Drafts section contains all campaigns that have been created but not yet published.

If you haven't published any campaigns yet, you'll see the drafts you manually created during the New Campaign flow — saved and waiting here.

If you have already published campaigns, you'll see any remaining unpublished drafts from that flow. If you published everything, this list may be empty — for now.

AI-Generated Drafts

Within 24 hours of your first campaign going live, AdsGo will automatically start adding drafts tagged "AI-generated" to your list. These are brand-new campaigns built by AdsGo — inspired by your best-performing ads, with fresh creatives and audiences designed to keep the momentum going. No extra setup needed.

Step 2: Edit a Draft Before Publishing

Click any draft to open the detail view. From here you can customize:

  • Optimization event — e.g. switch from Purchase to Add to Cart

  • Target audience — review or adjust who your ads will reach

  • Ad copy — headlines and primary text are pre-generated by AI and fully editable

  • Creatives — delete existing ones, upload your own, or generate new ones with AI

Once you're happy with the setup, connect your ad account and Pixel on this page, then hit Publish — your ads will go live immediately.

Step 3: Manage the Draft Queue

Back on the main drafts page, you'll notice all campaigns are arranged in a queue.

  • Drag and drop to reorder them at any time

  • The queue order determines which campaigns get published first when Auto-Publish is enabled

You can also toggle individual campaigns on or off, or delete any drafts you no longer need.

Note: The queue is capped at 10 unpublished AI-generated campaigns at a time.

Step 4: Publish Your Drafts

You have two ways to publish manually:

  1. From the detail view — open a draft, review the full campaign structure, connect your account, and hit Publish

  2. Directly from the list — select a draft and click the Publish button without opening it

Prefer a hands-free approach? See Step 6 for Auto-Publish.

Step 5: Check Your Recommended Ads

At the top of the page, the Recommended Ads section surfaces AdsGo's top picks for your next campaign.

If you're new to AdsGo — or your first campaign has been live for less than 24 hours — this section will be empty. You'll see the message:

"We'll recommend new campaigns based on performance 24 hours after your first campaign goes live."

This is completely normal. Once your ads have enough performance data, AdsGo will populate this section automatically.

After 24 hours, you'll see your Top recommended campaigns, ranked by predicted performance. Each card displays:

  • Daily budget

  • Target location

  • Optimization goal

  • Ad creative preview

Click into any recommendation to edit and publish — or select it and hit Publish directly from this view.

Step 6: Enable Auto-Publish

Want AdsGo to handle publishing automatically? Toggle on Auto-Publish in the top-right corner.

When enabled, AdsGo will work through your draft queue automatically — publishing campaigns at the optimal time based on your available budget and queue order.

You stay in full control at all times:

  • Reorder the queue whenever you want

  • Pause individual campaigns without affecting others

  • Turn off Auto-Publish at any time
