Want to showcase your products directly on Facebook and Instagram, run smarter ads, and track performance with Meta Pixel — all from Shopify?

With Shopify’s built-in integration, you can automatically sync your product catalog to Meta, manage your marketing, and sell across two of the world’s most engaging platforms.

Follow this step-by-step guide to get started:

① Log in to Shopify Admin

Sign in to your Shopify account and access the admin dashboard.

② Set up Facebook and Instagram

In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Sales Channels.
Click Facebook and Instagram, then follow the prompts to start setup.

③ Connect your Facebook account

Sign in with your Facebook account.
Ensure you have the necessary permissions to manage your Facebook Page and Ad Account.

④ Authorize required assets

During setup, you’ll need to connect and authorize access to the following Meta assets:

  • Facebook Page

  • Ad Account

  • Facebook Pixel

  • Instagram Business Account

⑤ Create product catalog

After connecting your Meta assets, Shopify will automatically generate a product catalog.
All products listed in your Shopify store will be synced to this catalog.

⑥ Check product eligibility

Make sure your products meet Meta’s requirements, including:

  • At least one shipping option

  • Compliance with Meta’s commerce policies

You can review eligibility in your Products section within the Shopify admin.

⑦ Manage products from Shopify

Manage your products, orders, and customers directly in Shopify.
Any updates you make will automatically sync to your Facebook product catalog.
